We are recruiting for this established and innovative consultancy which operates from 3 offices delivering projects in the UK and overseas. Their specialism is the provision of design and project management services to the commercial, custodial, industrial, education, listed building/ heritage and retail sectors.
The ideal candidate would have a strong civil/ structural engineering background and should be able to demonstrate this through their employment history and examples of their work.
You should have a degree in a relevant subject. If not already professionally registered, it is assumed that you will be working towards chartered status with either ICE or IStructE.
A sound technical understanding of structural systems.
Experience working with the British Standards/ Eurocodes.
The ability to communicate technical concepts in plain language.
The ability to work unaided and collaboratively.
Experience in 3D engineering software – Masterseries and/ or Robot would be ideal but not essential.
Experience in supporting and monitoring less experienced members of staff.
