Job 2076 Structural Revit Technician (Intermediate) Leeds/Bradford
For over 10 years our client’s customer base has thrived and diversified with niches in the retail, commercial, residential, healthcare and education sectors. The business has been steadily growing its design office capabilities which provide Landscape, Buildings & Interiors, 3D/CGI Design works as well as Structural/ Civil Engineering services.
This is an exciting chance to join a new Multi-disciplinary Structural and civil team working on projects from £10k - £10million. There is great opportunity to grow with the firm which will support academic qualification progression.
They are looking to recruit a Structural Engineering CAD Technician to work on a variety of projects including retail, residential and commercial located throughout the UK. Working closely with the Associate Director and head of Structural / Civil engineering department you will be responsible for producing drawings and with involvement with clients from concept design stage through to construction on site. The candidate will be capable of giving positive input to developing systems and standards.
The department uses the following, AutoCAD, CADS A3Dmax, Microdrainage, Civils 3d, Smart Engineer, Eurobeam software preferred, as well as standard MS packages required.,
Requirements:
- The candidate must have minimum 1 years AutoCAD experience with a civil/structural consultancy and familiarity with all common structural materials, particularly steel and concrete.
- Ability to produce drawings using AutoCAD. You must have some knowledge of Revit/BIM technology.
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Be educated to Min HNC (or attending course) in Civil or Structural Engineering
For the right candidate a competitive salary (£22,000 TO £32,000 depending on experience), good holiday entitlement, plus other benefits.
Full time staff position Monday to Friday.
