Job 2128 Graduate Civil Engineer - South Leeds

We are pleased to be recruiting for a niche consultancy, established over 10 years, and experiencing massive growth. This is an excellent opportunity to work for an innovative and vibrant engineering consultancy providing specialist civil and structural engineering services for the construction industry, modular manufacturers, local authorities, and developers.

The candidate requirements are as follows:

• You must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working in in infrastructure design, predominantly on drainage schemes.
• You will probably come from a medium sized practice and be used to working as part of an engineering team to deliver a holistic, integrated project.
• You will have experience of simple Flood Risk Assessments and management of external consultants for more complex cases.
• You will have experience of producing Drainage Strategy Reports for planning; and will be able to demonstrate how to develop this from an initial enquiry stage. The ability to use MicroDrainage or Causeway Flow is essential, and you may be asked to demonstrate this at interview.
• You will be involved with External works design / levels for private car parks and access to developments such as care homes / offices / car showrooms.  Experience with Small highway works, eg S278 for site entrances would be advantageous.
• You must have at least HND level in Civil Engineering.  Also essential is a desire to develop personally and professionally as this position is key to the growth plans of the business.

Competitive salary (£28,000 to £40,000 depending on level of experience), Workplace pension, Training and Development, Professional memberships fees paid. Full time hours Monday to Friday (Flexible working).
