Working in a similar role and with experience appropriate to the position, you will be a good problem solver and effective communicator who possess flexibility and initiative.
You should be able to demonstrate your building projects related civil engineering design experience.
Key Roles & Responsibilities (subject to the position):
particularly strong in the design of drainage and external works
strong technical knowledge within the field of civil engineering
ability to work unsupervised and also as part of a wider team of Engineers
production of schematic/concept designs and calculations within defined project timescales
familiar with Innovyze Microdrainage software,
knowledgeable with AutoCAD and Civils 3D
conversant with all current day design codes and planning policies,
familiar with SUDS, drainage earthworks and flood risk assessment considerations and development implications.
liaise with other construction professionals in the development of designs
liaise with Statutory Bodies such as Local Water Authorities, Environment Agency or Local Authority.
You should have a full UK driving license and your own transport.
