Job 2131 - Structural Engineer - North Leeds
We are recruiting for a rapidly expanding practice who are looking for Structural Designers at senior to Associate level.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out detailed design calculations and preparations of design drawings, specifications and information in accordance to Eurocodes and British Standards.
- Independently lead projects ranging from commercial, residential and education sectors.
- Collaborate with team of civil engineers and technicians.
- Guide and assist the practical training of Graduate and Technician Engineers.
Job / Project Accountabilities:
- The appropriate level of technical expertise is required in order that the Job / Project Accountabilities listed below can be carried out to the necessary standards.
- Contribute to concept design.
- Send agreed alterations to design team for comment.
- Attend design team meetings as appropriate.
- Produce detailed design information including calculations and design sketches.
- Send detailed design information to design team or Local Authority.
- Formulate the project specifications for Senior Management approval.
- Respond to queries resulting from the tender process.
- Attend tender interviews if appropriate.
- Attend site during construction phase if necessary to ensure construction is in accordance with specifications / drawings.
- Carry out risk assessments and provision of design information for Health and Safety File.
